City Centre Challenge
This year Peacock are taking part in the City Centre Challege. The challenge is to collect all the signatures/marks/stamps of each of the venues advertised within the dates of the NEOS week, 11th-19th September. If you succeed you will be entered into a Free Prize Draw whereby you can win a number of different prizes from the venues taking part.
The City Centre Challenge will run alongside NEOS and the guide works with the NEOS catalogue- i.e. the venue numbers tie in with the directory. The guide includes a basic map and a summary of each venue’s work along with Prize Draw instructions and terms and conditions. You will be able to pick up a yellow guide from any of the venues taking part.
The closing date is 5pm on 19th September and competition entries can be returned to any of the venues taking part and the draw will take place on the 21st September.

NEOS Participants & Audience
NEOS was primarily set up to provide a focus in the year for arts & craft practitioners to interface directly with the public.
NEOS is not a promotional company – it is simply a “blank canvas” platform for practitioners to use to advertise their own work and practice.
In 2009 there were an estimated 15,000 visitors to the 222 participants, confirming that there is a thirst from the public to see and experience creative practice in the North East of Scotland.
NEOS is more than “just” Scotland’s largest open studios event. The catalogue is also a high quality, year round directory for practitioners operating in the North East.
More information can be found on the NEOS website.
