Date & Talk/discussion: Saturday, 24th March 2018, 3pm-5pm
OPEN ENDING is a public discussion concluding the W OR M / OPEN, a part of the new Peacock Associates programme. During the past two months, The W OR M became an experimental curatorial platform for the Peacock Associates to collectively propose and realise a series of showcases and public events.
OPEN ENDING is both a closing and a starting point, a reflexion on what happened towards what is to come next. How can an art space be ‘open’ to the city and a diverse range of people and groups? How can we achieve this ‘openness’ collectively and what is our role as creatives in attaining this?
Peacock Associates together with several guests discussants from Gray’s School of Art, Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and the University of Aberdeen will open the conversation. We welcome anyone with any background or culture for discussions and exchanges on those topics. We hope that this will trigger lively and interesting conversations and foster a collective dialogue to think about our sustainable future in Aberdeen.
