Due to popular demand, we are again looking for submissions of short stop-motion animated films, to be shown at an informal evening of screenings at Peacock Visual Arts.
The event is being organised as part of Peacock Visual Arts’ second, much anticipated, edition of In Motion Animation Festival, which presents an exciting programme of short and feature films, curated from around the world and screened at The Belmont Filmhouse. In addition, an exhibition at Peacock Visual Arts with development sketches, storyboards, paintings, musical scores, sculptures and films will focus on the work of Dutch artist Hisko Hulsing, creator of the multi-award winning Junkyard. Animation workshops for all ages will also be available.
We are looking for short stop-motion animated films (preferably no longer than 10 minutes). Entries will be combined and screened in the Peacock Visual Arts main gallery on Saturday 21 March during an informal event, which will form the grand finale of In Motion 2015. After all films are screened the audience will choose their favourite short, and the winner will be presented with our ‘prestigious and shiny’ Golden Rowie Award!
Please send submissions to email@example.com by 5pm on Friday 6 March 2015.
Please submit your entries as a .mov file via We Transfer.
Alternatively, you can post a DVD marked for the attention of Sarah Ainslie to the following address:
