Slow Motion is an exhibition presented by Peacock Visual Arts in partnership with The Barn, displaying new works published in the studio over a 7 year period. Artists include Claire Barclay, Roderick Buchanan, John Byrne, Mike Giant, Tom Hammick, Kenny Hunter, Janice Kerbel, Scott Myles, David Noonan, Toby Paterson, Ralph Steadman, Donald Urquhart, Frances Walker and many more.
Workshops: Relief Printing
Thursday 2nd March 2017 2-5pm or Thursday 9th March 2017 2-5pm.
Run by master printmaker Michael Waight, you will learn all about the special technique of relief printing, with a typographical based theme. Spaces are limited for each workshop. £35/£30 concession.
Tea and Tour: Thursday 2nd March 12-1pm and Thursday 9th March 12-1pm.
Join members of The Barn’s gallery committee for an informal tour of the exhibition with refreshments.
Family Fun Day: Saturday 18th March 12-4pm. Exhibition Explorers. Fun for all the family. Explore our current gallery exhibition Slow Motion and create your own artwork using a variety of techniques and materials. Free, just drop in.

‘Gallery Focus with Michael Agnew’, Course Leader in Contemporary Art Practice at Gray’s School of Art: Michael Agnew, will talk us through the artworks on show in the Peacock Visual Arts exhibition Slow Motion, as contributing artist, printmaker, and teacher.
