Peacock Visual Arts needs your help! Syd Barrett, Pele, Houdini, One Up, John Lennon, Annie Lennox, David Bowie, the Fishing Fleet and Mikhail Gorbachev all have one thing in common, each of them was here in Aberdeen. To celebrate this and our participation in the up and coming Aberdeen Art Fair, 2 – 4th September 2016, Peacock Visual Arts made a Pink Floyd blue plaque to commemorate their 1967 gig at the famous Aberdeen Beach Ballroom.

We want to rack your brains. Tell us about people who are from Aberdeen, have visited, buildings that were here, things that were made here, or events that took place in Aberdeen. The most interesting suggestion will have a blue plaque made by Peacock Visual Arts to be presented to the winning entry.

We have created an event page on Facebook. Click ‘Going’ on the event page and leave a comment with your entry, and then share the event using #aberdeenheritage. You can invite anyone you think would be interested in the event and find the event page here.

You can also tweet your suggestions to @peacockvisarts and leave any suggestions on our Instagram @peacockvisualarts using #aberdeenheritage.
